Hello parents and guardians. Burroughs Elementary will be introducing Project Outreach to our students and families. Project Outreach is a service club that connects students with disabilities together with their non-disabled peers for the better of both groups. If your student loves to help others, making new friends, and wants to be a part of something meaningful then this is for them! You can scan the QR code to sign up for potential selection for the club. Paper applications will be sent home Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The fee is $30, however, you do not pay until your student is selected. #Burroughsbest #Pawsinprogress

Good afternoon parents and guardians. Here are the themed days for our Christmas spirit week. Please be advised, students must wear navy uniform bottoms for the 16th-18th. Also, for student safety, slippers are not allowed on the 19th. We can't wait to see our students in the Christmas spirit. 🎄🎅

Gentle reminder! The money for the 3rd through 5th grade glow party is due Friday, December 5, 2025. If parents would like to attend, the cost will be $2. We kindly ask for a limit of 2 parents. If you choose not to attend, we ask you pick your student up in a timely manner. Please be advised, this is a parent led event.
Fill the bus, fuel the joy!😁🎄 We will begin collecting toys to stuff the bus to help spread Christmas joy. We ask students to bring in any new unwrapped toys by December 11, 2025. Any students who brings in a toy will receive an, "out of uniform " pass for Friday, December 12, 2025. Please be advised that participation is strictly voluntary.

Good morning parents and guardians, due to confusion Jersey Day that was scheduled for tomorrow is cancelled. Regular uniform with navy bottoms, red or white shirt, and covered shoes must be worn. Thank you.
This Friday is Jersey day!! Students may wear their favorite sports team jersey with uniform bottoms. We can't wait to see your team spirit!
