National School Counseling Week kicks off next week, February 2nd through 6th. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the dedication, care, and hard work of our school counselor Mrs. Abston. Counselors play a vital role in supporting students’ academic success, social-emotional growth, and future planning, and our impact truly makes a difference. Students may donate $2 for an out of uniform pass to help our school raise money for The United Way Campaign organization. All proceeds will go to supporting this program. Please be advised that participation is strictly voluntary. #burroughsbest #PawsinProgress

From the Superintendent, Based on the most recent updates, we feel that we will be fine  proceeding with a regular day of school tomorrow, January, 26, 2026. Students are expected to be in unform with the option of layering uniforms, either under or over uniforms.  If additions are made to the unforms, as always, be sure that all safety procedures are adhered to and are not jeopardized. Good morning parents and guardians. We have unexpectedly received the assistance from a community member for a holiday Christmas card. This individual has offered to take pictures of your student(s) and place it on a card for $10. This Thursday, December 18,2025, students may wear their favorite Christmas shirt or dress nicely for the picture. All proceeds from the pictures will go towards the 2026 Spring Fling.
